I was honestly blown away by how amazing this fort is. It also features an on-site Clayton Museum, which houses some stunning Roman artifacts. I took a few photos that I’ve shared on my site, but you must visit in person to truly appreciate it. My photos don’t do justice to the beautiful sculptures, which offer a fascinating glimpse into the arts and culture of the Roman Empire. You’ll find examples of pottery, jewelry, and weapons. The museum is a must-see for anyone interested in Roman history. There are also interactive screens that help both adults and children discover and learn more about this incredible period.
